Let's have a better show at Meanwood Park on 19th November and at Temple Newsam on 26th November.

This last weekend the Junior Home Internationals took place in Northumberland, ably hosted by NATO. Three juniors from AIRE were selected to the England team: Evie Conway, Lucy Haines and Laura King. It was a hard fought competition but with lots of friendly rivalry and good fun between the athletes. All the youngsters ran hard and supported each other in competing for their home nations.
The new club O Tops have arrived and will be ready to collect at the Compass Sport Cup Final this weekend or the Esholt Olite on the 22nd. Jack will be e-mailing details of how to pay for your order.

Evie Conway achieved selection for the second year 14s tour based at Lagganlia Outdoor Centre near Aviemore in the summer. Read her account of her orienteering training, but also the fun and games during the week's tour, on the YHOA website
Over 20 AIRE members enjoyed a day of coaching in tricky Lakes woodland followed by a moorland event. The weather was kind and the coaching excellent.
If you are attending the O-Lite event at Esholt on Saturday, 22nd October, be sure to bring your dibber as SI will be used at the event!
