Classic orienteering at Holme Fell
Chris Burden's efforts in controlling the Lakeland event were repaid with a glorious day and superb orienteering. The rare challenge of having to interpret the brown lines on the map led to many mistakes. Parallel errors - mistaking one feature for another similar feature - were easily made. Clear attack points, augmented by good map reading and checking direction were the order of the day.

British Orienteering has announced that orienteering will return to England on 1st August 2020 (subject to any further restrictions that may be imposed by the government). Please bear with us as we get to grips with the new guidelines and work out our fixture list for the season.
How to join
To become a member of Airienteers you must also be a member of British Orienteering – the national governing body for the sport. You can join as a Senior member (aged 21 or older on 31 December of the membership year) or a Junior member (aged 20 or younger on 31 December of the membership year).
