3pm to 5.30-6.00pm:
- EVERYONE welcome to Nell Bank Centre for a fun outdoor orienteering game in the grounds
- bring headtorches
- festive dress optional.
Followed by food & hot/cold drinks indoors. Venue and food funded by AIRE junior cake stall funds.

Classic orienteering at Holme Fell
Chris Burden's efforts in controlling the Lakeland event were repaid with a glorious day and superb orienteering. The rare challenge of having to interpret the brown lines on the map led to many mistakes. Parallel errors - mistaking one feature for another similar feature - were easily made. Clear attack points, augmented by good map reading and checking direction were the order of the day.
