Christmas Junior & Family Social 2025
On Sat 6th December, 40 AIRE members and their families came to our junior social at Nell Bank, Ilkley.
An orienteering team challenge involving balloons followed by games, activities, food, and awards - great fun !!

Classic orienteering at Holme Fell
Chris Burden's efforts in controlling the Lakeland event were repaid with a glorious day and superb orienteering. The rare challenge of having to interpret the brown lines on the map led to many mistakes. Parallel errors - mistaking one feature for another similar feature - were easily made. Clear attack points, augmented by good map reading and checking direction were the order of the day.
