The Met office has issued a Yellow weather warning covering the period of both events. The detailed forecast suggests that the Saturday event is likely to be the largely dry but cold. On Sunday it will be colder with constant rain and/or snow.
Given the location, our risk assessment does not suggest there is a need to cancel but we will expect all competitors to wear a cagoule with appropriate full body cover and to carry a whistle. We reserve the right to refuse a start to anyone who is not suitably equipped.
Our risk assessment will be reviewed on Saturday morning so all competitors are encouraged to visit this site again on Saturday, to check for any changes.
From A63/B6159 follow signs to Temple Newsam House.
