Lister Park - Summer Lockdown Series

Congratulations to Ian Furlong on doing a Long and Short Course double.

To leading Women on the Long Laura King (3rd Overall) and Rebecca Flaherty on short where her fabulous 2nd place is also the leading Junior performance.

Brother Alex was leading Junior on Long with a great 8th place.

We had a few issues to report on this week. Particularly with registering No 12 on Long, 4 on short, Results stand but an indication of time difference and adjusted indicative times are also given in the results pdf for information.

Pre Event Info

Parkland Sprint style event in one of our best Parkland orienteering areas. An expected winning time of circa 15 minutes for experienced orienteers with a shorter course for newcomers.

Directions / Parking

Directions and Parking: Use the car park in the park. Park Entrance is on North Park Road, Bradford, BD9 4NT, close to the start and finish. You can either park on the park road that runs parallel to North Park Road or in the car park to the left, just beyond the start. Note this is closer to Start/Finish than the originally suggested location.

Public Transport, The 680 travels along North Park Road, 622& 626 travel along Keighley Road on the other side of the park from the start.

The Course is live from Wednesday 1st July to 9pm Tuesday July. Start whenever suits you.
