Directions / Parking
The School is a few hundred metres from Frizinghall Station. There are frequent buses from Bradford and Shipley which pass the school.
Parking is in the school car park off Frizinghall Lane, BD9 4LF. (Note that the official school postcode BD9 4JP is for the entrance on Keighley Road, which you should not use.)
The Indoor Sprint is in the main school building - enter via the main front entrance.

Starts will be from 2.00-4.00 pm
Courses will close at 4.30pm
We (Katie Stitson in the lead) are arranging a social for Aire members from 4.30-6.30pm - bring a dish. More details have been provided to those who have notified us. If you are intending to join us for this, please indicate on the entry form. Latecoming club members will be accommodated: please bring a dish and, ideally, crockery, cutlery, and a cup.
There will be a photo-o competition as part of the social event, thanks to Alan and Margaret Parker.

Non-British Orienteering members £5 seniors, £2 juniors
Entry on the Day will be unlimited, but once the pre-printed (waterproof, outdoor quality) maps have run out (there is an excess of between 3 and 30 across the courses), we will be using ones printed on an on-site printer. The last four starters on the Medium course will also be using one of these maps, as entries exceeded our expectations on this course.

Terrain Description
Courses will take place in the corridors, rooms and stairways of the school. The A3 map (surveyed and drawn by Leon Foster 2019) will show the five floors on separate parts of the map, and some legs will involve navigating between floors. There are many sets of stairs and dozens of internal doorways on the map. External doors are not mapped.
Dog restrictions
Absolutely no dogs in the school grounds (including parking).

Safety and Risk: A comprehensive risk assessment will have been carried out by the organiser, but participants take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety during the event.
Insurance: Everyone is welcome to take part in this event. However, from 1st January 2026, participants who are not members of British Orienteering will no longer be covered by British Orienteering’s public liability insurance. For example, if you were to accidentally injure a member of the public or damage property during the event, you would not be covered by our insurance. By entering any event from 1st January 2026, you acknowledge that you are taking part at your own risk. British Orienteering’s public liability insurance used to cover non-members at events before this date.
