Course Information

45 and 60 minute score - you choose which you want to run.

Map: 1:4000, 2.5m contours

For those of you who are new to this - a score course is where you have a map with a number of controls on and you have to make the decision which ones to go to. You do not follow a set route. There is a time limit and you get penalty points once you have gone over the limit, usually 10 points per minute or part minute. The aim is to get as many controls as possible and get back as close as possible before 8pm. Points per control are usually written on the map. In the winter and autumn events for urbans there are no control kites. Control sites are street furniture e.g. lampposts and it works on a trust basis. Terrain events will usually have controls sites marked with a kite. There are no controls to punch in the autumn and winter series.

Terrain Description

95% Tarmac and 5% grass.

Dog restrictions

On a tight lead.
