15-minute walk from Burley Park rail station.
Regular bus services on nearby Woodhouse Lane (#1,6,27, 28)
Registration from 6.30 -7.25pm. Starts 6.45-7.30pm.
Course close at 8:30pm (for newcomers this means that you must be back at registration by then - controls will be collected in from 8:30pm)
Senior members £4. Non members £5.
Juniors and student members £2. Non members £3.

Entry on the day (EOD) while maps still available. Check the number on race signup for up-to-date entries.
Ideally enter before the event. For EOD - online entries are open until 7:30, otherwise correct cash payment or Helper Voucher.
There will be 2 sprint-type courses:
These are ‘straight-line’ distances – on the Long you will run a bit further optimum route is circa 6.0km.
The Long course crosses public roads, so U16s will need to be accompanied.
A dibber is required for the start & finish on all courses and on the long course there will be three randomly placed controls for you to punch, none on the short course.
Parkland and Urban. Fast running in Woodhouse Moor park on both courses. Plus residential streets, alleyways and intricate housing on the Long course.
No significant vegetation, so full leg cover is not required.
Please be careful crossing roads and be considerate to pedestrians, especially in narrow alleyways.

Insurance: Everyone is welcome to take part in this event. However, from 1st January 2026, participants who are not members of British Orienteering will no longer be covered by British Orienteering’s public liability insurance. For example, if you were to accidentally injure a member of the public or damage property during the event, you would not be covered by our insurance. By entering any event from 1st January 2026, you acknowledge that you are taking part at your own risk. British Orienteering’s public liability insurance used to cover non-members at events before this date.
