There will be 24 controls each worth 10 points. They will be normal orienteering kites. 10 point penalty for each one minute (or part) late back to registration.
You are required to touch each control but we trust you to count them for yourself and declare your score when you return to registration.
A completely updated and redrawn map. The area is very mixed. With runnable woodland, heather moorland, open fields plus some easily and best avoided, overgrown woodland and recently felled areas. Much of the rhodendron cover has been removed. The area has an extensive path and track network.
On a tight lead please.
