It was great to see so many turnout for our return to orienteering despite probably the worst weather you can expect in mid August. We hope that you all felt the event provided and safe background for renewed competition. The allocated start times certainly seem to have worked in keeping a steady but regular flow of participants.

Many thanks to planner Ian Furlong who when he volunteered last winter was expecting to do a standard informal Wednesday evening event but rose to the challenge with three great courses and sterling efforts on the day. Many thanks also to Leon,Charlotte,Richard and both Peter Jones’ for their help before the event and on the day.
