Directions / Parking

Parking is at the circular car park beside Titus Salt School on Higher Coach Road.

Assembly is in the shelter to the south of the car park. Walk 50m south, use the road crossing and enter Roberts park. The shelter is immediately to the west.

We will socialise in the Boathouse (on the other side of the river, through the park) at the end of the race.

Registration from 6:15 and start times 18.30 - 19.15

Long: 3.5-4km

Short: 2km (orange standard)

Terrain Description

Urban terrain, parkland and woodland.

Please take care crossing roads and in the vicinity of both the canal and the river.

Dog restrictions

On a tight lead please.

Safety and Risk: A comprehensive risk assessment will have been carried out by the organiser, but participants take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety during the event.

Insurance: Everyone is welcome to take part in this event. However, from 1st January 2026, participants who are not members of British Orienteering will no longer be covered by British Orienteering’s public liability insurance. For example, if you were to accidentally injure a member of the public or damage property during the event, you would not be covered by our insurance. By entering any event from 1st January 2026, you acknowledge that you are taking part at your own risk. British Orienteering’s public liability insurance used to cover non-members at events before this date.
