Directions / Parking
Event parking will be at Rawdon Community Library / Micklefield House and registration will be situated near the playground.
If car park full then use local streets Harrogate Road, Park Road, Quakers Lane triangle for parking to the East of Micklefield Park.
Registration & Start Times
Registration from 6.20 -7.05. Starts 6.30-7.15
Courses close 20.15. For those of you who are new to this - course close means that you need to report back to assembly by that time so that we know that you have finished safely. Controls will be collected in from 20:15.

Course Information
Sprint 2.5km 35m climb - Seniors only includes two crossings of the A65, please use the crossing points as indicated on the map and take care.
Orange 1.5km 15m climb - for more experienced juniors, and Seniors who don't wish to do the Sprint. All controls within the perimeter of the parkland, no road crossings.
Straight lines distances, you will run up to 50% further.
Terrain Description
Parkland with some quiet streets plus busy A65 road on the Sprint course.
Dog restrictions
Under control please. Clear up any mess.

Safety and Risk: A comprehensive risk assessment will have been carried out by the organiser, but participants take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety during the event.
Insurance: Everyone is welcome to take part in this event. However, from 1st January 2026, participants who are not members of British Orienteering will no longer be covered by British Orienteering’s public liability insurance. For example, if you were to accidentally injure a member of the public or damage property during the event, you would not be covered by our insurance. By entering any event from 1st January 2026, you acknowledge that you are taking part at your own risk. British Orienteering’s public liability insurance used to cover non-members at events before this date.
