A night orienteering competition that takes place each winter, a series of events put on by each of the large clubs in the association.
Part of the Yorkshire & Humberside Orienteering Association Night League
Leave the A6120 (Outer Leeds Ring Road) at its junction with Tongue Lane, and
follow Tongue Lane south for approx. 700m. Just before the mini roundabout, turn
right for Parkside Road, immediately left, then immediately right. The Myrtle
Tavern is on the left after 400m.
Do not attempt to approach from the Northwest along Parkside Road itself
from the ring road. It’s blocked off.
The event will be signed from the Leeds Outer Ring Road at Tongue Land and
from Stonegate Rd.
Parking in the pub car park and then along Parkside Road (no restrictions but
please be aware of other road users and residents).

Meanwood Park has areas of parkland, runnable woodland, rough open land, and areas of significant rhododendron growth. There are areas of old quarry workings, and an extensive path network. There is a stream which is usually crossable but which rises quickly in periods of heavy rain - use the bridges. There is one particular area of deep mud by the stream

By entering any event from 1st January 2026, you acknowledge that you are taking part at your own risk. British Orienteering’s public liability insurance used to cover non-members at events before this date.
