Assembly and start will be in Blenheim Park on Leicester Place (nearest postcode LS7 1LH, what 3 words: trio.elbow.paints ). Busses 51 and 52 run through Little London with stops on Oatland La (5mins walk from assembly). There are also a wide variety of busses that run both along Woodhouse Lane and through Sheepscar interchange (10mins walk). It is also within walking distance from Leeds City Centre.
Parking options.
1. Leicester Place - on street opposite the Park on the N side. There is also parking further up past Blackman Lane too (~5mins walk to the little park). These are usually busy with resident parking, but there may be some spaces.
2. Blackman Lane - Parking along the N edge of the park towards the church.
3. Carlton Hill - Slots available in Parking bay by the towers with a 2hr max time before 6pm - unregulated after.
There are some overflow options on Carlton Gardens (1hr max parking before 9pm).

Payment, preferably contactless, will be on the day. Any cash payments must be for the exact sum. Change will not be given.
Before attending any orienteering activity all participants should self-assess for Covid-19 symptoms . If you, or anyone you live with, has one or more of these symptoms, however mild, you should not attend the event.
Long Course for Seniors and usually Juniors over 16 on the day
Short Course for Juniors, capable of Orange standard and Seniors wanting a shorter run.
Courses may be planned to Sprint, Middle Distance or Long Distance guidelines

Insurance: Everyone is welcome to take part in this event. However, from 1st January 2026, participants who are not members of British Orienteering will no longer be covered by British Orienteering’s public liability insurance. For example, if you were to accidentally injure a member of the public or damage property during the event, you would not be covered by our insurance. By entering any event from 1st January 2026, you acknowledge that you are taking part at your own risk. British Orienteering’s public liability insurance used to cover non-members at events before this date.
