This event will use a new ISSOM orienteering map surveyed and drawn by Richard Foster January 2018.
There are leagues for Men and Women, with prizes for the winners of Open Classes and Over 45 Classes. Your best 5 runs count. Points will be awarded on the basis of mins/km for this event. You can run any course.
Urban. Please take care crossing roads. Some roads are very busy and should be crossed with care. There are no timed out crossings. U16s must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
High visibility clothing is mandatory
Dangerous roads are overprinted with the "Dangerous area" ISSOM symbol. These are extremely dangerous and should not be crossed or used under any circumstances.
There are multiple large construction sites. These are mapped with the construction zone symbol and are strictly out of bounds. There may be other construction sites that have appeared since surveying. Please stay out of these areas.
The Ice rink and fun fair in Millennium Square is currently running. This area is out of bounds and is mapped with the Temporary out of bounds overprint.
Please be aware of all other out of bounds and "forbidden to cross" symbols under ISSOM: https://www.maprunner.co.uk/re...
On a tight lead please.
