We will socialise in The Riverside at the end of the race.

Registration and start times 18.30 - 19.15

Courses close 20.15. For those of you who are new to this - course close means that you need to report back to assembly so that we know that you have finished safely.

Course Information

Long/Sprint Course for Seniors

Short/Orange course for more experienced juniors, and Seniors who don't wish to do the Sprint.

Long course 3.9k; Short 2.2k

We use SI Timing for the start and finish. You can hire a dibber if you don't have one. On the long course there are three randomly placed controls to punch. There usually are none on the shorter course but it is worth checking before you start.

Important Information

Safety and Risk: A comprehensive risk assessment will have been carried out by the organiser, but participants take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety during the event.

Insurance: Everyone is welcome to take part in this event. However, from 1st January 2026, participants who are not members of British Orienteering will no longer be covered by British Orienteering’s public liability insurance. For example, if you were to accidentally injure a member of the public or damage property during the event, you would not be covered by our insurance. By entering any event from 1st January 2026, you acknowledge that you are taking part at your own risk. British Orienteering’s public liability insurance used to cover non-members at events before this date.
