Pre Event Info

Mass start 45 and 60 minute score event.

Bring a torch and a pen.

Juniors (-16) must be accompanied and supervised by an adult

High viz clothing is advised. Bring kit suitable for all winter weather conditions.

Parking in car park before Titus Salt school on Lower Coach Road BD17 5RH

Saltaire station is nearby with frequent train services

Post race social in the Boathouse pub

Entry Details

EOD only Seniors £4.00 Juniors and students £2.00.

Ideally contactless payment please. If not, correct cash payment or Helper Voucher.

Please complete your details on the entry form at the payment position. Most importantly your contact phone number, for safety and insurance purposes.

If you are doing the 45 minute variant include that in the 45/60 column.

At the end calculate your results (including the time you were given when you returned) and write them into the Registration form

COVID Guidance for competitors & volunteers

Before attending any orienteering activity all participants should self-assess for Covid-19 symptoms. If you, or anyone you live with, has one or more of these symptoms, however mild, you should not attend the event.



Course Information

45 minute and 60 minute course.

There are leagues for Men and Women, with prizes for the winners of Open Classes and Over 45 Classes. Your best 4 runs count.

Courses may use either street furniture or normal control kites with pin punches.

Terrain Description

Parkland and Woodland with small urban section. Please take care crossing roads.



Dog restrictions

On a tight lead please.

Important Information

Safety and Risk: A comprehensive risk assessment will have been carried out by the organiser, but participants take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety during the event.

Insurance: Everyone is welcome to take part in this event. However, from 1st January 2026, participants who are not members of British Orienteering will no longer be covered by British Orienteering’s public liability insurance. For example, if you were to accidentally injure a member of the public or damage property during the event, you would not be covered by our insurance. By entering any event from 1st January 2026, you acknowledge that you are taking part at your own risk. British Orienteering’s public liability insurance used to cover non-members at events before this date.
