This event in the series is a coaching session for adults and experienced juniors (orange to green standard)

Directions / Parking

On the road approaching the Waterworks, off Station Road, Esholt. (There is no station!)

The A3 bus passes nearby on Hollins Hill.

A comprehensive risk assessment will have been carried out by the organiser, but participants take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety during the training.

Registration & Start Times

Meet at 12.45pm, start 1pm & finish 3.30pm

Entry Details

The session is intended for AIRE members though any spare places may be made available to members of other local clubs.

To book a place email secretaryATaire.org.uk before 10th November with your name, age class and details of your current orienteering standard/experience. Once booked we confirm final details and ask you to complete a medical form.

We suggest a cash donation of £1 per person for the day.

Safety and Risk: A comprehensive risk assessment will have been carried out by the organiser, but participants take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety during the event.

Insurance: Everyone is welcome to take part in this event. However, from 1st January 2026, participants who are not members of British Orienteering will no longer be covered by British Orienteering’s public liability insurance. For example, if you were to accidentally injure a member of the public or damage property during the event, you would not be covered by our insurance. By entering any event from 1st January 2026, you acknowledge that you are taking part at your own risk. British Orienteering’s public liability insurance used to cover non-members at events before this date.
