Thank you for all coming, it was great turnout and brilliant to see all Cubs out enjoying an evening on t'moor.

Apologies for a couple of mis-placed controls on the Sprint course, I had to rush setting out the controls as my car was having a service. I hope you still had a enjoyable run out on the Burley moor side of the Cow n' Calf. Thanks to all who helped with kit, registration and collecting controls and made the event run smoothly on the day. See you next week at Calverley. Don't forget Jack Bloor fell race the day before too.

Directions / Parking

The nearest rail station is Ben Rhydding. 1k walk with 100m climb.

The nearest buses go to Ben Rhydding and Ilkley

Cow and Calf Car Park, and, if full, considerate roadside parking.

Payment and Start/Finish are West of the car park/cafe.

£4.00 Seniors £2.00 Juniors. SI card hire £1. Yellow - Free including SI hire.

Scouts please let the organiser know if you are bringing a large group and how many maps you require two weeks before the event.

Payment, preferably contactless, will be on the day. Any cash payments must be for the exact sum. Change will not be given.

COVID Guidance for competitors & volunteers

Before attending any orienteering activity all participants should self-assess for Covid-19 symptoms which include: a high temperature; a new continuous cough; and a loss of, or change to, their sense of taste or smell. If you, or anyone you live with, has one or more of these symptoms, however mild, you should not attend the event.

Similarly if you have been informed that you need to self-isolate, then you must do so. We encourage competitors to try and maintain a respectful distance from one another, as infection rates remain high.

Sprint Course for Seniors

Orange course for more experienced juniors, and Seniors who don't wish to do the Sprint.

Yellow course will be offered for beginners and juniors.
