Safety and Risk - Parents and carers are expected to accompany young children and vulnerable young people or adults or anyone who will need assistance with the activity. You are welcome to do the activity in pairs or small groups.
Car park off Spring Gardens Lane BD20 6LH and on local streets
Public transport - Regular buses travel from Keighley centre along A629 Skipton Road. No 62, Dalesway 66, and 903. Use bus stops East Avenue or Beechcliffe School and walk up through the park
Arrive at the registration between 1pm and 3pm

How to ‘grab a map and find your way’? - This activity is free of charge. Just turn up at the registration point between 1pm & 3pm. The activity can be done in pairs, small groups or individually.
5 courses available. The easiest courses will be around 1km, the hardest 2.5km. At least 1 course will be pushchair/wheel chair accessible along paved paths but note the area is on a slope.
We will close the courses at 4pm.

Insurance: Everyone is welcome to take part in this event. However, from 1st January 2026, participants who are not members of British Orienteering will no longer be covered by British Orienteering’s public liability insurance. For example, if you were to accidentally injure a member of the public or damage property during the event, you would not be covered by our insurance. By entering any event from 1st January 2026, you acknowledge that you are taking part at your own risk. British Orienteering’s public liability insurance used to cover non-members at events before this date.
