Safety Information
Please wear a high-vis top. Runners Under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Both courses will cross Burley Road which is very busy.
Torches should be carried.
Directions / Parking
Registration will be on Park View Road at the park entrance on the N side of Burley Park.
There is plenty of roadside parking on Park View Road, but please consider using public transport where possible - it is a 2min walk to Burley Park Rail station and there are numerous bus routes from Leeds nearby - particularly along Burley Road.

EOD Registration: From 18.15 to 18:55
Starts from 18:30 to 19:15 (or as soon as the course is ready).
Courses close: 20:15

Two courses Long:3.2k and Short approx. 2.5k (straight line distance)
Terrain Description
Urban streets and parkland. Please take care crossing roads.
1:4000 Ocad ISSprOM 2019 orienteering map.
Dog restrictions
On a tight lead please.

Important Information
Safety and Risk: A comprehensive risk assessment will have been carried out by the organiser, but participants take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety during the event.
Insurance: Everyone is welcome to take part in this event. However, from 1st January 2026, participants who are not members of British Orienteering will no longer be covered by British Orienteering’s public liability insurance. For example, if you were to accidentally injure a member of the public or damage property during the event, you would not be covered by our insurance. By entering any event from 1st January 2026, you acknowledge that you are taking part at your own risk. British Orienteering’s public liability insurance used to cover non-members at events before this date.
Privacy: Please note that by entering our events you are treated as giving your consent to:
- your name and your children’s names appearing in the results section of this website or in social media. Read our data protection page to see how we look after your personal data.
- being photographed or filmed during the event and for these images being used on our website, social media or other publicity to provide information & to promote our sport and the club.
