My apologies that the control circles were a little bit tricky to see. I had increased their size of the circle and thickness of line, but the ISSprOM purple overprint colour is difficult to see at night - particularly over the olive green. For future events, I'll change the colour to make it easier to see. Richard (mapper).

Pre Event Info

Mass start 45 and 60 minute score event.

Bring a torch and a pen.

Juniors (-16) must be accompanied and supervised by an adult

High viz clothing is advised. Bring kit suitable for all winter weather conditions.

Directions / Parking

Buses 49, 80, 91 pass very close. Buses 14, 16, 86, 87 go to Bramley Bus Station (0.8k walk).

Bramley Rail Station is a 2k walk.

A large free Car Park is available at the junction of Wellington Grove and Broad Lane (entrance in Wellington Grove).

Assembly will be in the open area across Broad Lane from the Car Park - take care crossing Broad Lane - high-viz clothing is advised.

COVID Guidance for competitors & volunteers

Before attending any orienteering activity all participants should self-assess for Covid-19 symptoms which include: a high temperature; a new continuous cough; and a loss of, or change to, their sense of taste or smell. If you, or anyone you live with, has one or more of these symptoms, however mild, you should not attend the event.

Similarly if you have been informed that you need to self-isolate, then you must do so.

We encourage competitors to try and maintain a respectful distance from one another, as infection rates remain high.


Course Information

45 minute and 60 minute course.

There are leagues for Men and Women, with prizes for the winners of Open Classes and Over 45 Classes. Your best 5 runs count.

Courses may use either street furniture or normal control kites with pin punches.

Terrain Description

Urban. Please take care crossing roads. 1:4000 Urban Orienteering map

Dog restrictions

On a tight lead please.
