Safety Information

In light of the forecast weather (moderate wind, low temperature) for the Baildon Moor event on Wednesday night we have decided to make Whistles, Cagoules, Hats, and Gloves compulsory, either worn or carried. Carrying a mobile phone and spare torch is recommended. It is quite wet underfoot, so wear grippy shoes. As of Monday, there is no snow or ice on the moor.

Bring a headtorch and a pen if you wish to record controls visited.

Whistles are compulsory. There will be a few spare to borrow if required.

Full leg cover is advised if you plan to visit the furthest controls.

Cagoules, hats, and gloves are compulsory.

Juniors (under 16) to be accompanied by an adult because there are road crossings on the course.

High viz clothing required because there are road crossings on the course.

Parking and assembly are in the large car park on the East Side of Hawksworth Road, known as "Strawberry Fields car park" or "Trig Point car park", 0.4 km north of Baildon. Note, we are not using the car park on Bingley Road that has been used in the past.
