Black, Blue and Brown courses cross the road over the moor. There should be good visibility along the road when crossing but be aware that cars can travel very fast along this stretch. Warning notices for drivers will be put out to alert them about runners in the vicinity.
The area is used by dog walkers, horse-riders, mountain bikers etc. Please be aware of these other users and give them a wide berth where possible
At enquiries there will be a place to store car keys. All lone drivers must leave their keys here and if you have come by other means (bike, walk, public transport) please leave your details at Enquiries
Assembly will be at Baildon Golf Club: Moorgate, Baildon, Shipley BD17 5PP
Enquiries, SI hire, download, clothing dump and toilets are all located in
assembly.
There will be no parking available for competitors in the Baildon Golf Club car park. Please use surrounding streets and public car parks (click on this link for map showing suitable parking areas). Please only use roadside spaces highlighted on the map and do not block any residential driveways or park at road junctions. There may be limited parking in the car parks/layby to the north of the Clubhouse (over the cattle grid on Hawksworth Road) and at Ian Clough Hall (free on Sundays) in the centre of the Village. All indicated parking is within 5 minutes walk of the Event Centre (Baildon Moor Golf Clubhouse)
Public Transport: Baildon Railway station 0.9miles but uphill! Allow at least 20 minutes. Buses from Bradford and Shipley - 626, 633, 634, 675

Starts from 10.30-12.30.
Courses close at 2.30pm, please choose an early start time if you need extra time.
Please head to the start close to your start time.
The start is located 800m (10 minutes walk) from the Golf Club.

SI card hire: £1
Hired SI cards will be available to collect at Download. A charge of £30 will be made for lost or non-returned hire SI cards. After your run they must be left in a box beside the splits printer.
Controls will be SIAC enabled. But you must dib at the Start and at the Finish.
Competitors with standard or hired SI cards must also dib at all controls.
It is the competitor’s responsibility to ensure that their SI card has registered at the control.

Before attending any orienteering activity all participants should self-assess for Covid-19 symptoms which include: a high temperature; a new continuous cough; and a loss of, or change to, their sense of taste or smell. If you, or anyone you live with, has one or more of these symptoms, however mild, you should not attend the event.

A string course will be provided and will be located close to the Assembly
1:10,000 with 5m contours for courses Blue to Black. 1:7500 for White to Green. Happy and Sad faces will be used on the White and Yellow courses.
Blue, Brown and Black courses visit the golf course. All greens are marked as out of bounds (in olive green) - please respect this. Also be aware of golfers teeing off and avoid tees.
Yellow maps will be located after the punching start. White maps can be picked up at registration.

Open moorland and golf course, with many contour features, and a good path network - potentially muddy in places. Many dog walkers, golfers and some mountain bikers. There are many small paths that have not been mapped. Areas with scattered trees have been indicated but do not represent individual trees.
