Directions / Parking

O Signs on Otley Road, the A6038, from both directions. Free car parking at Denso Marston, on Otley Road, Baildon, 2km from Shipley town centre and 2km from the start. 

Please note that The Baildon Boundary half marathon race will be taking place on the same day. Street parking will be very limited. 

Mini buses will be used to take competitors from assembly to the Start on Baildon Moor, and back from the Finish. Journey time between 10 and 15 minutes.

There will be a 700m walk from the bus drop off to the Start.

Registration & Start Times

Registration, toilets and download are in Denso Marston car park. 

Registration from 9.30 to 11.30 am.

Start times from 10.30 to 12.30.

Courses close at 2.30

Terrain Description

Heavily bell pitted moorland with old bracken, and a complex path network.

282m ( 920 feet ) above sea level.

Course Information

1:10000 map. 5m contours, updated 2015.  

White             Very easy    For young and inexperienced juniors

Yellow            Easy   For juniors with a little experience

Orange           Moderately easy   For more experienced juniors and inexperienced seniors.

Light Green    Moderately hard  For experienced juniors

Short Green    Hard

Green             Hard

Blue                Hard

Brown             Hard

Seniors £10.00 (£8.00 for BO members)

Juniors and Students £3.00

Juniors free on White and Yellow courses

Dog restrictions

Dogs under control on the courses and at assembly (in cars only).  Please clear up any mess.
