Results - Danefield Olite Relay, 10th October 2015

Thank you for all coming along – we were blessed with good weather up at Danefield again this October.

16 runners turned out for the relay, so we had 8 teams - including a few new faces, which is always good. Each runner had to do three, short 600m legs - so six legs in total per team. 

I planned courses to avoid the worst of the vegetation, as there is quite a lot of it up at Danefield at this time of year.  Unfortunately, this meant each runner going down ‘the bank’ for one leg, but everyone came back up again! Several teams didn’t complete all the legs due to time constraints and/or failing light, but everyone seemed to have had a good time.  Finally, thanks also to senior members for pairing up with juniors in order to make up teams – they had a great time and this was very much appreciated.
