Thank you all for coming. Thanks also to Chris Burden for the original map, for making the edits, and for printing the maps. I hope you all enjoyed your runs on the hilly and sometimes confusing (!) streets of Idle and the surrounding area (the map actually extends to Apperley Bridge, Wrose, and the outskirts of Shipley!). It’s interesting to note that there appeared to be a correlation between the performances of those who finished within the 45 min cut-off and others – perhaps reflecting the wide gaps between control sites, making it not worth ‘going for the extra one’. A sociable drink and/or meal were enjoyed by over a dozen of us at the end – making the midweek break even more worthwhile. Here’s to next week!
David.
