Results
Thanks to everyone who came out on a sunny, if a bit chilly, autumnal day. I hope you all had a good run and enjoyed the course, particularly everyone from LUUOC and everyone new to orienteering who came along. I certainly enjoyed planning and organising my first O-event.
Apologies to anyone that was affected by the “missing” control on the Orange and Green courses (no.65) – someone thought it would be nice to re-site in a nearby bush. Nick was able to find it and replace it in time for the later runners. Given the amount of people around the campus due to the festival in the union, I was pleasantly surprised to see that no others were moved.
Thanks to everyone who helped me out, particularly Nick Jones who gave some excellent planning advice and tips, and was around on the day to field questions and collect controls. Thanks also to Carol and Pauls for collecting in controls and packing stuff up afterwards.
Finally, apologies if I’ve spelt anyone’s name wrong below!
