Ilkley Moor Regional Event – 28th February, 2010.
Event Details
Terrain: Ilkley Moor is a north facing escarpment with a wealth of rock and contour detail. The vegetation includes heath, bilberry and rough grassland plus areas of bracken and a number of small plantations. The winter snows have done an excellent job flattening the bracken and making the moor much more runnable than for sometime. However the moor still remains a physical challenge.
