Permanent Courses
MapRun Courses now available
We now have 2 types of Permanent Courses.
Traditional where the control locations are marked with infrastructure usually a discrete wooden post or a plaque.
Virtual, via the MapRun app which utilises GPS on your smartphone to track and record your run.
Permanent Courses are usually designed for beginners but often include difficult options for improving or experienced orienteers. They are a great way to improve your navigation skills, experience orienteering without needing to attend an event or to simply make a walk more interesting.
