Juniors to be accompanied by adults as crossing of 30 mph roads required.

ALL COMPETITORS please complete your details on the race registration form at the payment position. Most importantly your contact phone number, for safety and insurance purposes even if you have entered via Race Signup. This is so that we know who actually starts as we do not us SI timing at these events.


Course Information

Choose between 45 min or 60 min score

1 x open orienteering map with 25 postboxes

These are worth an array of points from 10 to 50 - indicated by the first digit of the control code

1 x urban map of smaller area within the above map, containing 15 lamp posts all worth 20 points

Scored on a trust basis

30 point penalty per minute late

Terrain Description

Urban with pockets of parkland and woodland

Dog restrictions

On a tight lead please.

Important Information

Safety and Risk: A comprehensive risk assessment will have been carried out by the organiser, but participants take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety during the event.

Insurance: Everyone is welcome to take part in this event. However, from 1st January 2026, participants who are not members of British Orienteering will no longer be covered by British Orienteering’s public liability insurance. For example, if you were to accidentally injure a member of the public or damage property during the event, you would not be covered by our insurance. By entering any event from 1st January 2026, you acknowledge that you are taking part at your own risk. British Orienteering’s public liability insurance used to cover non-members at events before this date.
