A comprehensive risk assessment will have been carried out by the organiser, but participants take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety during the event.
Parking is limited in the area, but is available on nearby streets (please do not block driveways) or at Tesco, Brighouse Road, Queensbury (max 2hrs stay). Please take care walking along Park Lane to the park entrance as there is no pavement.
We will be ready to see you from 1:00 pm
When you arrive you will receive a “Dibber”, an electronic timing chip, given the opportunity to look at the map before you start and an AIRE coach will be on hand to assist to talk you through what to do and answer any questions. The course start will be adjacent. There you receive the map for your course, and you can start at intervals in your own time. You can start at any time up to 2.30 pm.
We suggest a cash donation of £1 per person for the day.
For youngest competitors we provide 3 short courses. Do 1 and we tend to find a lot of the kids end up doing all 3!
For older children and those that have attended earlier events in the series there are 2 medium courses still staying within the parkland area.
Unfortunately there is not an option for a longer course using the surrounding area at this event.
Undulating former ornamental park. Areas of open grass and runnable woodland with many paths.
Dogs on a short lead please. Please clear up any mess.
