ALL COMPETITORS please complete your details on the race registration form at the payment position. Most importantly your contact phone number, for safety and insurance purposes even if you have entered via Race Signup.
This is so that we know who actually starts as we do not use SI timing at these events.
45 minute Score event using Maprun and a paper map
See below for scoring scheme this is the first time we have used this one. It will be explained on the night also.
Preferably download the course at Home. You will be given the PIN to allow you to start by the Organiser on the day.
If you already have the app, the course can be downloaded direct from the QR code above.
Otherwise Open the App, Go to Select Event > UK > Aire Valley > 2024 Events > Golden Acre

Scoring Scheme -important read it all!
There will be 30 controls worth between 20 and 40 points. 30 point penalty for each one minute (or part) late back to finish.
Controls numbered 20-29 score 20 points
Controls numbered 30-39 score 30 points
Controls numbered 40-49 score 40 points
This is a 45 minute Score event with two sets of controls (ie of different “parity” - odd numbered and even numbered) on the same map.
