Team Sprint, teams of 2 will start at the same time and swap maps halfway round!

The teams time will be calculated on the last runner in the team to finish
AGM and food to follow at the Adel War Memorial Association, Church Lane LS16 8DE SE272399.
The winning team will receive a bottle of fine ale each to be presented at the AGM
Parking: Car park on Arthington Road - on the east side of the park.
The event is open to members of all clubs - and members of none.
There will be a meal available afterwards for Aire members intending to attend the AGM at the Adel War Memorial Association, Church Lane LS16 8DE. Grid Ref: SE272399. This is 2k south down Arthington Road and Church lane.
Please let the event organiser know if you want a meal.
The AGM will commence at 7.00.

Please pre-enter by emailing the organiser by Wednesday 10th October, especially if you require a meal before the AGM. There will be some EOD but only for the courses - not the meal.
The event is primarily a 2 person team sprint event, but you can run as an individual if you wish.
Teams will be made up on the day by the organiser.
The team courses will be approximately 2.9k for each runner, both runners will start at the same time.
Individual courses of approximately 3.5k and 2.2k will also be available.
There will be a meal afterwards for those attending the AGM. The AGM itself will follow at 7.00.

Safety and Risk: A comprehensive risk assessment will have been carried out by the organiser, but participants take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety during the event.
Insurance: Everyone is welcome to take part in this event. However, from 1st January 2026, participants who are not members of British Orienteering will no longer be covered by British Orienteering’s public liability insurance. For example, if you were to accidentally injure a member of the public or damage property during the event, you would not be covered by our insurance. By entering any event from 1st January 2026, you acknowledge that you are taking part at your own risk. British Orienteering’s public liability insurance used to cover non-members at events before this date.
