There will also be an introductory Trail O course aimed at people who have not tried this form of orienteering. It relies on accuracy of map reading rather than speed over the ground. The course will be close to Assembly and can be done before or after your run in the Foot O. It should take no longer than 20 minutes and there will be no charge
Woodland partly on fairly level high ground with steeply sloping sides down to the canal. A network of paths (some very indistinct and not mapped) with rocky outcrops. Visibility is good but due to recent weather the paths are wet and muddy in places.
Dogs under control in the wood and at assembly. Please clear up any mess.
