We are very sorry that we cannot provide the results you expect to see. We had a catastrophic error shortly before the finish and lost all the splits. We were able to manually create a spreadsheet using the start and finish punches, however we were not able to see who miss-punched nor who changed courses on the day so they are not totally accurate. This means we cannot upload them to the BOF website for points, nor can we upload onto Winsplits and routegadget. If you want to let us know of any errors please email chair@aire.org.uk before Friday 12th January when we will update the spreadsheet.
In the event of extreme weather the organiser may require Waterproof Hooded Cagoules be worn. Look out for notices in car park assembly. We recommend all competitors carry a whistle.

Please note: Brown and Blue courses include a significant section of urban orienteering (up to 20% by distance), which may affect your choice of footware. For insurance reasons this also precludes M/W16s and younger running these two courses, so please enter Green for a TD5 course.
Green Blue & Brown Courses will be double sided maps with a map flip, indicated by the new IOF 2024 symbol
Please note: Courses close at 1400. If you feel you may take longer than 90 minutes to complete your course, please plan to start earlier than 1230.
Map re-surveyed and re-drawn November 2023 by Chris Burden using Lidar data, with reference to previous Airienteers maps. ISOM 2017, 5m contours.
A mainly deciduous wooded valley alongside Adel Beck, including complex network of paths, rock detail, varied vegetation and man-made heritage features. Significant areas of holly are mapped as fight. Areas where undergrowth impedes running are mapped with screen of vertical green lines.
Sports pitches are marked out of bounds on the map only. Private gardens are obviously out of bounds and mapped in olive green.
It is likely to be soft underfoot and some paths are quite muddy, including for shorter courses. White and Yellow courses will feature signs with happy/sad faces to reassure/check novice runners.
Brown and Blue courses both traverse an urban area of quiet residential streets. Nevertheless, please take particular care regarding traffic and pedestrians.
Please be aware the bridges, boardwalks and steps can be quite slippery.
On a tight lead please.
