SI Equipment
All the equipment needed by Planners to lay out the course controls, as well as the Start and Finish, for level C and above events.
N.B. Kit for use at informals, e.g. numbered kites on canes, are not listed here.
Planners must complete the SI Requirements Form and email it the SI Manager as soon as possible to allow them to plan and prepare the equipment.
SI CONTROL BLOCKS
4 BS7 (large black) : 2 x CLEAR / 2 x START
8 BS8 Blocks: 2 x CHECK / 2 x FINISH / 2 X SIAC Battery Test / 2 x SIAC Test (start and finish blocks set for punching start/finish)
64 BS8 blocks (small red) : numbered 151 to 214 (set in beacon mode for SIAC)
N.B. When an event has more than 1 Start or Finish, there will be less SI blocks available for course controls (10 per extra Start, 2 per extra Finish)
IF YOUR EVENT IS GOING TO NEED MORE EQUIPMENT THAN THIS LET THE SI MANAGER KNOW ASAP AS WE WILL NEED TO LIAISE WITH NEIGHBOURING CLUBS FOR LOAN.

70 lightweight, yellow, fibre-glass stakes for use with BS8 blocks only
6 longer yellow stakes for use with any size blocks
