Thanks to everyone for turning up. It sounded from the general level of loud discussions going on
at the finish and in the bar afterwards that people enjoyed the event. The course was fast and
generally very runnable which helped with the scoring, and no-one seemed to complain about the hill
too much!
Certainly it was high scoring – congratulations to Leon for getting all 30 controls – but I think there
were nearly as many different route choices as competitors which was my aim when planning it.
Other notable performances were Richard Foster with 270 points, and Jack Wood with 250,
despite forgetting to start his watch so came all the way back to the start after 30 mins for a time
check!
